Viladrau, a walk through the autumn colored trees

The plan A beautiful hike in the Montseny Natural Park, where we'll walk among beautiful trees and see old farmhouses of the area, with views of the valleys and mountains that surround us, at the foot of el Matagalls. 

Starting from the bucolic village of Viladrau, we'll walk along paths that will get us to another dimension where we’ll enjoy the fantastic seasonal colours of the trees. We'll enjoy the landscape offered by the colored beeches and the Merli chestnut grove, a beautiful forest with monumental chestnut trees along the way, some of them more than 500 years old!

How do we get there? We will go by public transport or in shared private cars (if some of you have cars).

We'll take RENFE train R3 ( direction Puigcerda) until Estació Rodalies de Balenyà and from there we'll catch a bus tpwards Viladrau. From SANT ANDREU ARENAL station in Barcelona the departure is at 07:18, but we will meet at 07:00 (€11 round trip). The bus departs at 08:30h (between €2-5€ round trip).

During the booking process you’ll be invited to tell us if you have a car and how many people can come with you. If we have enough cars we'll change the logistics in order to get there by car. Each passenger will pay €10 to the driver to cover gas and tolls expenses.

Cancellation policy: if cancellation till 72h before the beginning of the activity, 50% will be charged. If late cancellation (less than 72h before), full payment will be requested.
