🥾 The Plan
We’ll go for a circular hike that ascends from Fontalba to the top of Puigmal. The alpine landscape of this high-mountain route will offer us spectacular views, with wide open terrain that almost feels like walking on the moon.
From the summit, at more than 2,900 m above sea level, we’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views over the Eastern Pyrenees. We’ll descend through the magical Vall de Núria, where we’ll admire its emblematic lake, located at almost 2,000 m above sea level. From there, we’ll traverse the mountainside back towards Fontalba, passing natural springs where water flows directly from the rocks.

This hike requires good physical condition and is suitable for people who are used to hiking for 6–8 hours in mountain terrain.
