The wonders of the Montsec. 2 days hiking and kayaking.

The plan

Because the Congost de Mont Rebei is just one of the wonders of Montsec, we want to take you to discover the other gems of this natural park that very few people know and that are as much if not more beautiful :)

On top of that, you can optionally choose to go for a paragliding flight in one of the most idyllic spots in Spain for the practice of this activity (+€110).  

We’ll go for different hikes each day, one of them includes 3-4 hours guided kayak to discover the amazing natural formation called “the Chinese wall of Finestres” and its abandoned villages. We’ll enjoy landscape which will remind us of some science fiction movies.

As we’ll be hosted quite close to the Astronomic Park of the Montsec, you’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a unique night sky observation (optional +€17).

Difficulty level?

Difficulty of the hiking trails: moderate. 

We’ll be hiking in between 8 and 17km each day with positive elevation gain in between 300 and 700 meters. The hikes are not suitable for people with vertigo or fear of heights, as we will pass very close to some cliffs and over some overhanging structures such as bridges, etc. (ask us if you have any doubt)

Difficulty of the kayaking: easy - moderate. We'll be kayaking in calm water during 3-4hours. 

Difficulty of the paragliding (optional): beginners

Accommodation and meals

We will stay in a hostel in Ager in shared rooms for 6 people (bunk beds with fitted sheet and pillowcase). Breakfast included.  The rooms will be only for us.

For the dinners, we'll propose to go to local restaurants with the ones who want to. (each person can pay for their own food and drinks). Everyone can decide where and what he wants to eat.

How we'll get there?

We'll be sharing private cars. When you sign up, you'll be invited to let us know if you have a car, and how many people can come with you. Each passenger will pay 25€ to the driver for gas and tolls.

• Hiking shoes
• Clothes adapted to the season
• Waterproof jacket or raincoat (just in case)
• Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
• Walking sticks (optional)
• Swimsuit and towel
• Backpack
• Water (1,5L)
• Snacks
• Sleeping bag (or you can rent sheets and blanket for €4)
• Towel

• 2 nights in the hostel.

• Insurance in case of accident and CL. 
• 1 guided kayak route (Muralla china) with a professional guide (including safety vest, paddle, bathing covers, raincoat).

Not included and optional : you can add all those services during the booking process! You will pay for these extra services on the spot. 

• Astronomical observation: 17 € pp 
• Paragliding flight  +110€ (+ pictures €25 also optional)
• Hire of towels, sheets, and blanket + 4€
• Transport (25€ to the driver for gas and tolls).
• Dinners (first night at the hostal +14€), for the second night we'll suggest to go to a local pizzeria.
• Any other concept not mentioned in the “include” section.

 

Cancellation policy:

Change of plans? No sweat. Cancel up to 72 hours before and it's 50% refund.

Cancellation later than 72 hours before? Bummer, the full payment is required (including extras if you've chosen some), but if we manage to fill your spot last minute with someone else, we'll hook you up with a voucher for a future adventure! ✨

Extra info: If the weather's acting up, we might switch things up for your safety and maximum fun. ☔🌞
