The wonders of Priorat & Siurana. Hiking weekend.

Let's discover together the Sierra del Montsant and hike together through its beautiful landscapes and above its rich soils where one of the greatest Catalan wine is made.  

Here are the ingredients of the weekend: beautiful hiking trails among vineyards, cliffs, rivers and authentic villages. 

The special ingredient: we'll spend the night in a refuge in the middle of nature, surrounded by wilderness.  

Let's go for an adventure! 

What we’ll do? We’ll visit Siurana, a fantastic little village located on top of impressive cliffs with amazing views on a big reservoir and we’ll go hiking on beautiful tracks with spectacular views, passing by natural pools. We'll be in a wine region, so we can discover some of the great wines of this area. If we've time and the group is motivated, we can optionally visit a local winery (optional). 

Difficulty level: easy - moderate: from 8 to 13km and 200 to 650m level difference.

Accommodation and meals: We’ll be staying in an awesome guarded refuge in the middle of nature, surrounded by the beautiful natural park "Muntanyes de Prades", its forests and its calm. It’s a perfect opportunity to live the experience of mountaineering in its purest form. We’ll sleep in rooms with bunk beds, enjoy a typical shelter dinner for hikers and get up with the first sunbeams in the middle of the mountains. 

How we'll get there? Sharing private cars from Barcelona. During the booking process you’ll be invited to tell us if you have a car and how many people can come with you in the car. Each passenger will pay the driver for gas and tolls (20€ each if 2 or 3 passengers. 15€ if 4 passengers).   

What to bring: a raincoat/waterproof hiking gear (just in case), hiking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sun cream), walking sticks (recommended), picnic + snacks.  

Important! For the refuge: sleeping bag, towel, pillow (or rent it for € 2), additional blanket (or rent it for € 3). 

Price includes: 

• 1 night accomodation half board
• 2 days hiking with an offical mountain guide
• insurance in case of accident + CL

Not included: transportation (€15-20), pillow (€2), additional blanket (€3), hot shower (€2,5)

Cancellation policy: if cancellation till 72h before the beginning of the activity, 50% of the total amount will be charged. If late cancellation (less than 72h before), full payment will be requested.
