Surf trip and hiking in Fuerteventura - from 4 to 9 nights

The plan

Let’s discover the fantastic island of Fuerteventura combining Surf lessons and hikes. We’ll be staying in a beautiful villa with a private pool in the north of the island. It’s the ideal surfing area.

It’s a perfect trip to safely get closer to the world of surfing (beginners courses included), to improve your technique if you already have some experience and to discover beautiful corners of the island at a human pace.

About the surf courses

These are premium surf classes (beginner or advanced beginner or intermediate level) with a maximum of 6 students per instructor. The duration of the activity is half a day including transfers to the beaches where the course will take place (round trip). The instructor will decide on the best surf spot and time based on the weather forecast. Video recordings of the surf lessons will be made and analysed to help you correct and improve your surfing technique.

About hiking

Before of after the surfing courses, and also during the days we'll not be surfing, we’ll go on easy hikes (in between 2 and 5 hours duration) and discover the most interesting natural places on the island. The mountain guide will decide on the hiking days and the places based on the weather forecast and the surfing times.

Both the surfing and hiking sessions are optional. If someday you prefer to rest quietly in the Villa and enjoy the sun, the choice is yours. (except if you are one of the car drivers).

Difficulty: Surf - beginner level, advanced beginner or intermediate

Hiking: easy - moderate. Between 2 and 5 hours of walking - maximum gain in altitude + 600m

Accommodation and meals:

Located 15 minutes’ walk from the beach, northwest of Fuerteventura, the Villa is modern and has a private pool. It is located 10 minutes’ walk from the centre and has a bar area, supermarkets, shops and restaurants in its surroundings.

The villa has 3 bedrooms: a double suite (double bed) with a private bathroom and two quadruple rooms with 2 bunk beds per room and a shared bathroom. There are bed linen and towels. There is a large fully equipped open kitchen, a spacious and comfortable living room (with TV), a patio overlooking the pool, a dining room, a relaxation area and a solarium area around the pool. WI-FI and public parking are free.

As the Villa has an equipped kitchen, everyone can prepare all meals there (breakfast, lunch, dinner). For dinners, both the organizer or any of the participants can optionally propose going to dinner at a restaurant in the area.

Flights

Roundtrip flights to Fuerteventura are not included in the price. Each one is responsible for booking their flight from their city of origin (Barcelona or another).

From Barcelona there are regular flights with Ryanair, Vueling and Iberia. You can compare the rates through the website https://www.skyscanner.es/. However, I advise you to make the reservation directly on the website of the airline.

Moshe, our guide will arrive on 30/04 (Ryanair. Bcn 17:05 - Fuerteventura 19:20) and leave on 09/05 (Vueling Fuerteventura 13:25 - Barcelona 17:25).

To enjoy the complete surfing/hiking experience, we recommend you to join for at least 4 nights 

If you want to arrive before those dates or leave after those dates, it's also possible. In that case contact us if you want to book extra nights at the Surf house.

Getting from the airport to the house?

In the event that on the date of your arrival, there would be no driver available to pick you up at the airport, there is an easy option to go to the Villa by bus (approx 8eur).

Cancellation policy:

COVID19: in case of cancellation due to restrictions related to Covid-19, we will proceed to a full refund or send you a promotional code for the amount paid that you can use to book another activity in the future (without a deadline). 

If you cancel up to 7 days before the activity, 50% are due. In case of last minute cancellation (less than 7 days), the full amount will be required.
