The Natural Park of Sierra de Guara, located in the Spanish Pre-Pyrenees, is a spectacular land of limestone canyons, crystal-clear rivers, hidden pools and small villages full of character. It’s one of those places that feels especially magical in warm weather, because the landscape invites you not only to hike, but also to enjoy the water along the way.
This is what makes Sierra de Guara such a special summer destination: many of the hiking routes include sections where we walk along the river, cross the water, cool off in natural pools and enjoy refreshing swims in beautiful wild surroundings. On hotter days, we may choose routes with less distance, but that doesn’t mean less adventure or less time outdoors, quite the opposite.
