Puigsacalm and Puig dels Llops, hike to the Garrotxa “balcony” at 1,500 m

🥾 The plan
We’ll hike up Puigsacalm, a beautiful peak located near the spectacular volcanic area of La Garrotxa. The route goes through a stunning beech forest, home to a rich and impressive ecosystem.
Further on, the magnificent trees will give way to a natural balcony where we’ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views over La Garrotxa, the Osona region and Vall d’en Bas, a valley that some people call “the Catalan Switzerland”.
We’ll also take the opportunity to climb the nearby peak of Puig dels Llops, giving us another perspective over this beautiful landscape.
