The plan

This session is a 1h30  introduction course to understand what Nonviolent Communication is and how it can help us take care of our relationships with others and with ourselves. It is an interactive session in which everyone can participate (if they wish).

Language: the session will be held in Spanish. It’s important to have a good level of Spanish comprehension even if all team members speak English and will be able to help if you need clarification.

What to bring? You can bring something to eat and/or drink after the session. We also recommend that you bring a beach pareo or a blanket so you can sit on the floor.

Where are we going? This afterwork session will take place in the quiet gardens of "Doctor Pla i Armengol". In case of bad weather conditions, we'll do it at Moshe's house which is located a few minutes away from the meeting point.

About the hosts: Annabel, certified NonViolent Communication trainer, certified coach in The  Leadership Circle, certified yoga and meditation teacher. Read more on Happy Daystress.

Moshe, certified mountain guide (TD2) and C.E.O. (Crazy Enthusiastic Organizer) of Yepalo.

Price: Conscious donation: we would like each person to give the amount they feel comfortable with and can contribute. As a reference, we suggest that you consider giving between 5 and 10 euros. We like the idea that nonviolent communication is accessible to everyone, and at the same time, we would like to take care of the sustainability of our project.

What is NonViolent Communication (NVC)?

NVC is a paradigm shift in the way we relate to others which is based on connecting with our humanity and the humanity of the other person. It is also a technique that allows you to understand what is happening to you, what is happening to the other person and how to talk about it, to take care of yourself, the other person and your relationships with your kin. Created by Marshall Rosenberg, a North American psychologist and mediator, Nonviolent Communication consists of 4 steps (observation, feelings, needs and request) with practical and at the same time "magical" elements to avoid or clarify misunderstandings, tensions and conflicts.

What will you get with the NVC?

You'll improve your communication with others by expressing yourself very clearly, understanding how to manage your stress or others, improving how you take care of yourself, setting assertive limits, taking into account your feelings, your needs, those of others, and get closer to the people around you and fully enjoy life.

A 2 day NVC retreat in the nature

2 or 3 times a year, we organize NVC (Nonviolent Communication) retreats in nature. During 2 days/2 nights, we will enjoy the peace of a farmhouse in the heart of the Montseny Natural Park. We'll learn and practice NVC, go for gentle hikes in the beautiful woods around the house and we'll enjoy the delicious vegetarian menus prepared with love by Paula and Javier. We also offer a Kundalini Yoga session. Check out this link to learn more or sign up for our next retreat:  CLICK HERE
