The plan 

We’ll go for a circular hike that ascends from Fontalba to the top of Puigmal. The Alpine vegetation that composes this high mountain route will offer us some amazing landscape that looks almost like if we would be on the moon. 

The panoramic view, we’ll get from the summit, more than 2900 meters above the sea level, are simply stunning. We’ll get to see the entire Eastern Pyrenees. We’ll get down through the magic valley of “Vall de Núria”, where we’ll be able to admire its emblematic lake located at almost 2000m above sea level, and its surroundings. From there we will flank the mountain until we’ll reach the cars passing through natural springs water getting out directly from the rocks. 

Difficulty: Medium (requires a good physical condition. Good for people who are used to walks for 6-8 hours).

How do we get there?  

Sharing private cars from Barcelona. During the booking process you’ll be invited to tell us if you have a car and how many people can come with you. Each passenger will pay €12 to the driver to cover gas and tolls expenses. You can also meet us on the spot at 9:00 AM.  

What to bring: 

• Mountain shoes (high boots are highly recommended) 
• Sun protection (glasses, cap, sunscreen) 
• Picnic + snacks 
• Water (1,5L) 
• Walking sticks (recommended) 
• Waterproof jacket (just in case)

Cancellation policy

If cancellation till 72h before the beginning of the activity, 50% of the total amount will be charged. If late cancellation (less than 72h before), full payment will be requested.

COVID19: In case of being positive for coronavirus or having to quarantine for having been in contact with a positive, 100% of the down payment is refunded (presenting medical documentation). In case of official mobility restrictions implemented by the government, a 100% refund will also be made.

Additional information: based on the weather forecast, YEPALO may decide to change the location of this activity in order to ensure maximum safety and the greatest enjoyment of all participants.
