Who’s up for a beautiful winter mountain day in the Pre-Pyrenees? ❄️🏔️
We propose a snowshoeing ascent to La Gallina Pelada (2321 m), the most emblematic summit of the Serra d’Ensija. This is a very scenic winter route with changing landscapes: we start in forest, gain altitude progressively, pass by a mountain refuge, and finish on a broad summit with spectacular views.
We start from Pleta Palomera, ascending gradually through a black pine forest. As we gain height, the landscape opens up and we continue towards the Refugi de la Serra d’Ensija (2166 m). From there, we make the final ascent to the summit of La Gallina Pelada, where we enjoy an…
