Congost de Mont-rebei- Hiking & Kayaking weekend

The Congost de Mont-rebei it is an impressive gorge that forms the natural border between Aragón and Catalonia. The nature has been digging a path inside the rock that allows us to walk next to the cliffs enjoying breathtaking views on the turquoise water reservoir, just as if we were flying just above it.

During this weekend, we'll discover this stunning natural wonder and we'll go for another secret hike that will not leave you indifferent

Advance payment requested: 50%.

The remaining amount is to be paid in cash on the day.

The Plan

We will leave Barcelona early on Saturday morning, 8:00h, destination Serra del Montsec. Once there, we’ll go on a secret hike where we’ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views over the reservoir and discover a beautiful hermitage built in a very unusual place. It's a hike that's pretty unknown, in an uncrowded and stunning natural place where we'll be able to enjoy tranquillity and peace.

On Sunday morning we’ll be going to the Congost de Mont-rebei. Here you’ll have the possibility to discover this amazing region kayaking [+25€]. 

In the afternoon, we’ll go back to Barcelona (approx. arrival time 8-9 P.M.)

 

Difficulty level

Moderate. The hikes are not suitable for people with vertigo or fear of heights, as we will pass very close to some cliffs and over some overhanging structures such as bridges, etc.

Accommodation and meals

We will stay in a hostel in Ager in shared rooms for 6 people (bunk beds). You can choose the half-board option (+16€) when signing up.  

 

How we'll get there?

We'll be sharing private cars. When you sign up, you'll be invited to let us know if you have a car, and how many people can come with you. We’ll share the cost of gasoline and tolls (The approximate cost of the car journey per person will be €15).

 

What to bring?

• Hiking shoes
• Warm clothes
• Waterproof jacket or raincoat (just in case)
• Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
• Walking sticks (optional)
• Swimsuit and towel
• Backpack
• Water (1,5L)
• Snacks

Price Includes:

• 1-night accommodation

• 2 days of hiking with an official mountain guide

• Insurance in case of accident + CL.

Not included: 

• Transportation (15 €/ passenger to be paid to the driver) 

• Half board basis (+16 €) & meals.

• Kayak rental (+25 €)

Cancellation policy: if cancellation till 72h before the beginning of the activity, 50% of the total amount will be charged. If late cancellation (less than 72h before), full payment will be requested.

COVID19: In case of being positive for coronavirus or having to quarantine for having been in contact with a positive, 100% of the down payment is refunded (presenting medical documentation). In case of official mobility restrictions implemented by the government, a 100% refund will also be made.
