The plan "Els pins cargolats de l'Era dels Ecrins" (in English: the coiled pines of the Era dels Ecrins) are surprising pines: the shape of their trunks seems to come out of a fairytale. hiking in search of these botanical treasures is a good excuse to explore new areas of this natural park, apart from enjoying the beautiful views of this impressive massif. 

In addition, Sant Llorenç del Munt i l’Obac is mainly made up of calcareous conglomerates, making it very easy to find caves, “balmas’ or needles, which are sculpting the characteristic landscapes of this region.

How do we get there? By private cars. The meeting point is at the parking of Coll d’Estenalles, on the BV-1221 road (look for Coll d’Estenalles on google maps) at 9:00 am.
