The Plan Get ready to explore one of the most stunning natural gems in Catalonia: the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa. This unique landscape, located in the Eastern Pyrenees, is home to 40 volcanic cones, 10 craters, and 20 basaltic lava flows—a truly one-of-a-kind experience in the Iberian Peninsula!
We'll hike through the magical Fageda d'en Jordà beech forest, where the vibrant autumn colors create an unforgettable visual spectacle. Along the way, we'll visit the ancient Santa Margarida volcano, known for its charming hermitage built right in the center of the crater, and the Croscat Volcano, with its distinctive horseshoe-shaped crater that rises 160 meters high. Don’t forget to bring your camera to capture these unforgettable moments!
