We'll go to Caldes de Montbui where we will enjoy a nice quiet hike of 2-3h, followed by the best Spanish omelette (tortilla de patatas) in town and an hour of total relaxation in its famous thermal baths.
Caldes de Montbui is located at just 35km from Barcelona in the Vallès Oriental region. Its name comes from its hot springs waters (Caldes). The water comes out of its famous fountain (Font de Lleó) at a temperature of 74ºc. It's one of the hottest springs in Europe. The Romans decided to build a spa, which can still be visited nowadays. It is the best preserved Roman hot springs of the peninsula.
