4 days hiking in Saldes: at the foot of Pedraforca

€265: 3 nights and 4 days hiking.

Together we’ll discover the hidden corners of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park and climb the most mythical mountain in Catalonia, the Pedraforca 2506m. This peak is a real piece of art sculpted by mother nature and its landscapes will leave us breathless. 

What will we do? Impressive hiking trails of between 5 to 7 hours each day and the mythical ascent to the Pedraforca Summit (this mountain requires a good physical condition and has some climbing steps). 

We will discover the incredible landscapes of this natural park and the Berguedà area. We will visit beautiful towns, such as Castellar de n’Hug and we’ll explore the source of the Llobregat river. Four fantastic days to enjoy nature and the mountains in their purest form! 

YEPALO will decide the exact location of the outings based on the weather conditions for maximum safety and comfort of the participants. 

Difficulty: easy-moderate. Routes of 5 to 7 hours each day. We will walk between 10 and 18km with a positive elevation gain between 300 and 800m. 

Difficulty of "El Pedraforca": high. 

There are some important parts of climbs with steep slopes. It is not suitable for people suffering from fear of heights. Good physical conditions and adequate material (footwear, especially) are required.

Accommodation and meals: we'll stay at a fantastic 3 stars hotel in the middle of Saldes, at the feet of Pedraforca. We'll sleep in rooms with 2 separate bedrooms (2 single beds or double bed), private bathroom and best of all, a garden terrace with stunning views of Pedraforca. Breakfast is included.

How we'll get there? We'll be sharing private cars. When you sign up, you'll be invited to let us know if you have a car and how many people can come with you. We’ll share the cost of gas and tolls (being a courtesy detail that the person offering the car will not have to contrubute). You can also meet us at destination at around 10:30 a.m.

+ Includes: 3 nights in the hotel + breakfast, 4 days hiking with an official mountain guide, insurance in case of accident+CL.

Cancellation policy: 

COVID19: in case of cancellation due to Covid-19 restrictions, we'll proceed to a full refund. 

If cancellation till 72h before the beginning of the activity, 50% of the total amount will be charged. If late cancellation (less than 72h before), full payment will be requested.
