The plan
We’ll go for a circular hike that ascends from Fontalba to the top of Puigmal. The Alpine vegetation that composes this high mountain route will offer us some amazing landscape that looks almost like if we would be on the moon.
The panoramic view, we’ll get from the summit, more than 2900 meters above the sea level, are simply stunning. We’ll get to see the entire Eastern Pyrenees. We’ll get down through the magic valley of “Vall de Núria”, where we’ll be able to admire its emblematic lake located at almost 2000m above sea level, and its surroundings. From there we will flank the mountain until we’ll reach the cars passing through natural springs water getting out directly from the rocks.
Difficulty: Medium -high (requires a good physical condition. Good for people who are used to walks for 6-8 hours).
